For Sale: 1977 4x4 Dodge Truck $1200 OBO - Seattle, WA

Ben's 1977 Dodge truck was orginally stationed in Germany. It has a 318 with single port heads and intake and carburator. It was a radio truck and still has brackets and wires that go to the back of the bed from the motor area.
It was used for hunting in back yard and had original tires and 16.5 rims when Ben first got it at 24K. They have since been removed. Ben has driven it to California from Washington under its own power getting 14 MPG. Ben is moving on to a new truck now and would like to sell it for $1200 OBO.
It has a 727 transmission with around 50K miles. Currently it has a wiring problem and the cab is a little rusty. It has solid running gear but has weak front springs and original shocks. It does not leak oil but burns 2 quarts every 4,000 miles.
The grove along the fire wall had some rot so Ben stopped it with Osphose (Green stuff that turns it to black metal) about a year ago. He also stopped the rust under the windshield motors with treatment and cut out the bad and used fiberglass and resin to fix it. A little water still comes in on a hard rain.
The truck has a little rot on the bottom of each fender by the rocker panel.
The rockers are fine and everything has been under coated, frame and body. No fluid leaks. The front windshield took a rock this summer and has a crack that is still legal, and it dead ended but would be nice with a new windshield.
The only thing keeping this truck from running is a little electrical and the pick up coil. Or just electrical. It has no fire and has all new parts. I think that the new/ used distributor might have a bad pick up coil. The ignition has always been an issue.
The rear main seal is new and Ben also replaced the alternator, starter, master brake cylinder, one rotor, fuse-able links and so on, and a complete tune up kit was just put on.
The tires were a $1000 15,000 miles ago. Ben also has another set of snow tires with studs for this rig.
All oils and gaskets where replaced when be got the truck with Lucas Gear Oils 25,000 miles ago.
Ben is asking $1200 for his 77 Dodge truck. If interested you can contact Ben at:
